The “History of the City” exhibition shows the history of Lublin from the settlement period (6th–8th century AD) to 1944. The history of the city is illustrated by archaeological and iconographic monuments, including portraits of people who connected their lives with our city, prints (including ones about education and culture in Lublin), and materials on the local industry. From the top floor of the Krakowska Gate, that is from a height of about 36 meters above street level, one can admire the panorama of the city.
