The recitation and art competitions, organised continuously for 31 years, have gained a national rank. Over the years, they gathered tens of thousands of participants and contributed to the popularization of Józef Czechowicz’s work. The official final always takes place on 15 March – the poet’s birthday anniversary.

AIM OF THE COMPETITION
The aim of the competition is to introduce young people to deeper reflection on the literary text, shaping the culture of the living word and improving the skills of reciters.

RULES OF PARTICIPATION
Students from all over Poland can participate in the competition. Everyone is obliged to prepare two works: one by Józef Czechowicz and the poet accompanying the patron of the competition in a given year.
