In the garden surrounding the Cottage, one can see the outdoor exhibitions:
• One year of Stefan Żeromski’s life – 1920
The exhibition shows how much hundred years ago the everyday life combined with with great historical events. In twelve scenes, one can see Żeromski as a father, artist, social activist, but also a man who is still looking for his own place, working for a reborn Poland (scenario: Monika Gabryś-Sławińska, Marta Kempisty).
• Family album of Stefan and Oktawia
The photographic exhibition showing the Nałęczów period of the writer’s life, on which pictures of Stefan Żeromski and members of his family –wife Oktawia, son Adam, step-daughter Henryka Rodkiewiczówna, in-laws Oktawia and Konrad Chmielewicz, brothers of Oktawia Żeromska, as well as Jan Witkiewicz, son-in-law of Oktawia, are shown (scenario: Monika Gabryś-Sławińska, Marta Kempisty).
• Adam Żeromski
The exhibition, presenting the character of Adam Żeromski, allows one to trace his fate from birth to death. It also shows the hobbies of the son of the writer who was named in honour of Mickiewicz and was supposed to be an heir of literary talent of the author of Homeless People (scenario: Marta Kempisty).
• Golden Scout
The exhibition presents the ideas of scouting popular at the beginning of the 20th century, the figure of its founder Andrzej Małkowski, as well as the scouting passion of Adam Żeromski – prematurely deceased son of Stefan and Oktawia Żeromscy, the Golden Scout (scenario: Maria Mironowicz-Panek).
