Wincenty Pol’s manor house is a biographical museum with the character of a historical house. Its mission is, on one hand, to maintain and promote the memory of the once famous and deserved bard and scholar – about his fate, various forms of initiatives and creative activity, and on the other – updating his heritage in accordance with the motto “Past for the future”.
These goals are achieved through the collected, stored and processed collections, exhibitions, scientific (conferences, publications) and educational activities (museum lessons, lectures, workshops and games), as well as cultural events (evenings with author, intimate concerts and stage forms).
The museum, created and run for almost half a century by successive generations of enthusiasts, enjoys the support of a group of descendants and fans of Wincenty Pol, experts in his biography and work, and finally enthusiasts of the manor house as a place.
The homely atmosphere prevailing here, the direct meeting of guests with the hosts, a conversation, established dialogue and a sort of a slower flow of time give a visit to the Museum a special character. It’s not just the educational aspect that is of importance, but so does the opportunity to see the biography of an extraordinary character, which may turn out to be an inspiring experience.
