We cordially invite you to the event ALEKSANDER FREDRO & WINCENTY POL IN MEMORIAM, which will take place on December 1, 2023 (Friday) at 5.00 p.m. in the Museum of the Easter Lands of the Former Republic of Poland (Lublin, pl. Litewski 3), on the occasion of the Year of Aleksander Fredro and the 151st anniversary of Wincenty Pol’s death. Its organizers are: Wincenty Pol’s Manor, Department of the Literary Museum, and the Museum of the Easter Lands of the Former Republic of Poland – Branches of the National Museum in Lublin.

The program includes: a lecture by Wiktor Kowalczyk “Aleksander Fredro and Wincenty Pol – parallel lives and mutual relations”, a lecture by Dr. Tadeusz Piersiak “The Winged Words of Aleksander Fredro and Wincenty Pol” and the play “Ladies and Hussars” (fragments) performed by the Amateur Theater Society – cast: Irenka Mazur (Miss Aniela), Beata Lembowicz (Mrs. Dyndalska), Sandra Pikula (Zosia), Henryk Szuba ( Captain), Dariusz Boruch (Major) and Krzysztof Żak (Lieutenant); decorations – Grażyna Laskowska-Cielniak, music – Johann Strauss, adaptation and direction – Dariusz Boruch. Free admission.
