National Conference WORLD OF VINCENTY POL
On the occasion of the 217th birthday of our Patron, we invite you to participate in the 16th National Conference WORLD OF VINCENTY POL, which will be held on April 18 and 19, 2024 at the Józef Czechowicz Museum in Lublin, at ul. Złota 3.
In this way, we want to continue scientific reflections on the life and work of Wincenty Pol, initiated with the anniversary session in 2007. We understand this “world” very broadly: it is the world presented by the poet and described by the geographer and ethnographer. This year’s theme is: MAPS AND LITERATURE / LITERATURE AND MAPS.
The organizers of the conference are: the National Museum in Lublin, Literary Museum Branch, Wincenty Pol Manor Branch; The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, College of Polish Philology, Editing and Digital Humanities; Literary Society of Adam Mickiewicz, Lublin Branch and the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society, Municipal Branch in Lublin, City and Field Guides Association.
